The Westgate Boys - Rescue

25, 2010 I received a call that someone had left a box of rats in the
shrubs of a shopping center in Austin. A message written on the box
stated the rats were born Feb 17,2010.
- When
I picked them up, i found there were 6 males. The boys visited my
vet the following day and have been handled daily while here.
- These
poor guys were someone's pets. Someone they trusted abandoned them,
put their lives in jeopardy. They have been thru so much in
their short lives and understandably are a bit uneasy. They tend to
startle at sudden noises or movement, but I've seen no signs of
aggression or nippiness.
- These
boys are looking for a special person to call their own, preferably
someone with previous rat experience, someone patient enough to give
them the security and love they need to blossom.

These guys will be staying here with me. I've fallen for their gentle
sweetness and can't bear to see them leave. LOL.
